Paris Saint-Germain president Naseer Al-Khelaifi, has confirmed Kylian Mbappe will stay at the club beyond this summer.
Mbappe’s future with the Ligue 1 champions was uncertain for most of the off season after he made it clear he will not sign a contract extension.
The 24-year-old, whose current deal expires in June 2024, however, refused offers to leave PSG.
After being frozen out of first-team training, he was eventually reintegrated and has already scored in league fixtures.
“We have had very good discussions with Kylian. He’s a magnificent player, as a person and as a professional,” Al-Khelaifi told RMC.
“We’ve had discussions with the rest of his family.
“New deal? I don’t want to talk about that. Mbappé is PSG player.”
