Nkrumah Did Not Build a Single Hospital But ‘Great’ Akufo-Addo Building 111 – Pius Hadzide

Chief Executive OfficerCEO) of the National Youth Authority(NYA) Pius Enam Hadzide has said Akufo-Addo is doing much more than Kwame Nkrumah did for Ghana. 

In an interview on Okay FM restreamed by MyNewsGh.com, the former Deputy Youth and Sports Minister said although he respects and honours Kwame Nkrumah, Akufo-Addo is doing much more for Ghana.

“Kwame, do you that Kwame Nkrumah did not build a single hospital for the whole of Ghana? The whole of Ghana not even one single hospital anywhere. He didn’t build even a common Clinic anywhere” He said.

“So what do we say to someone who is building one hundred and one under Agenda 111 or you have not heard about that Kwame?” He asked Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie, Host of the Okay Morning Show.

Pius Hadzide had called into the show to react to an earlier interview on the same show by Nana Yaa Jantuah over Akufo-Addo’s decision to Rename the University of Ghana after his uncle J.B Danquah.

Pius Hadzide said Nkrumah came to take over from where others had started and was paid for his work.

Buttressing his point, he said some of Kwame Nkrumah’s achievements pale into insignificance if compared to the works being done by Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
