DCE Nominee: Youth, Assembly Members In Sekyere Kumawu Roots For Shamsu Huda

Some Youth and assembly members in the Sekyere Kumawu District are rallying behind Shamsu Huda as their preferred candidate for the District Chief Executive (DCE) position. They’re urging President John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) decision-makers to appoint Shamsu Hudu, citing his experience as a former government appointee, deputy constituency secretary who doubles as the elections and research officer since 2009 to date.

According to them, Huda’s familiarity with the community’s challenges and his ability to relate to stakeholders and traditional leaders make him the ideal candidate. They’re committed to supporting him in championing the president’s agenda and continuing previous administration projects.

The youth , the NDC Party and Assembly Members believe that projecting Shamsu is because he understands the socio – cultural settings of the Sekyere Kumawu District.

The group said it’s crucial that they have a leader who understands the local customs, industries, and resources, socio – cultural setting of the District and the people, believing the fact that, Shamsu Huda has proven himself to be a dedicated and knowledgeable leader, and they believe he’s the best person for the job.

They also emphasized the importance of peace in the district and expressed confidence in Hudu’s ability to maintain and secure it. They warned that they would reject any nominee other than Huda, should President Mahama fail to appoint their preferred choice

Their voice clarifies personal interest and selfishness but for the bitterness of the Sekyere Kumawu District.

They assured their commitment to supporting Shamsu Huda, citing his confident that he’ll work tirelessly to address the needs of the community, they urge the president and the party’s decision-makers to listen to their concerns and appoint the best person for the job.
