With profound grief, I wish to announce the sudden death of Mr. Ken Ntiamoa, the founder of the NPP Canada Branch, and a Founding Member of the New Patriotic Party. Mr. Ken Ntiamoa served as the Chairman of the NPP Toronto Chapter between 1992 to 2005. Until his demise on Friday June 14, 2024, Mr. Ken Ntiamoa was the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the NP Canada Branch.

Prior to his formation of the NPP in Canada, Mr. Ntiamoa was a Founding Member of NPP North America. Mr. Ntiamoa was among the Stalwarts in the Diaspora who contributed financially towards the registration of the New Patriotic Party in Ghana, this feat earned him the status of a Founding Member of the New Patriotic Party.

Since 1992 Mr. Ntiamoa continued to play a pivotal role in positioning the Canada Branch as one of the leading NPP external branches. It is worthy of note that Mr. Ken Ntiamoa was very instrumental in the organization of our recent 32nd anniversary celebrations, and also participated in both the grand BBQ and townhall events in good health.

His demise has therefore come as a shock to many of us in the NPP Canada Branch and the entire Ghanaian community across Canada. The Branch Leadership extends its deepest sympathies to the family, friends and all Patriots across the various Chapters in Canada. May the Soul of Mr. Ken Ntiamoa find received gracefully by his ancestors. eternal peace and comfort in the bosom of the
