If you believe in Christ or not, the future of Ghana is Bawumia -Obiri Boahen

A former deputy General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Obiri Boahen says, the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia is the only candidate to transform the nation.

According to him, the flagbearer has demonstrated competency while serving as a vice president.

Speaking on the Talk Ghana Show on Wontumi TV, on May, 18, 2024, Mr Boahen touted Dr. Bawumia’s capabilities, stressing the need to give him the mandate in the forthcoming general election.

“If you believe in Christ or not, the future of Ghana is Bawumia. If you really wish this country well, then Dr. Bawumia is the only candidate to vote for on December 7th. Whether you belong to the NDC, NPP, CPP, or even if you are a Christian, Muslim, a Traditionalist,  or a pagan, vote for the most competent Bawumia, for he has the key to transformation” he said.

He also asserted the vision of the flagbearer, therefore urging electorates to vote for him in the upcoming election.

“This is not an insult or malice to former president John Mahama but I’m being honest. Bawumia is a better choice than Mahama. Let’s link this to football, every club would prefer Mbappe to Lewandoski” he added.
