A school bus accident has resulted in the death of one person

A school bus carrying over 25 pupils at Kwabedu, a suburb of Tarkwa in the Western region, has been involved in an accident.
The accident has reportedly led to the death of one pedestrian.
The bus with registration number GN 2681-11 was conveying some pupils to school when they heard the sound of the accident.
The bus belonging to one Kingdom Kids School collided with a steep road.
A schoolgirl fell from the shock of the accident sound while walking along the road.
The bus that had stopped on the road skidded and crashed on the schoolgirl, who stayed under it for nearly 20 minutes before some nearby welders and others raced to her aid.
According to an eyewitness account, the young girl died after being rushed to the hospital.
The eyewitness continued that the windscreen of the bus got broken through and all the occupants of the bus escaped unhurt.
