According to information on the EC’s website, the centres include the Commission’s 263 district offices in the sixteen regions and 25 public universities across the country. 

Registration would take place at 31 centers in the Greater Accra region and 22 centers in the central region.

The number of centres picked for the Western region was 16, Volta, 18, Eastern, 33, Ashanti 46, Western North, 9, Ahafo, 6, and Bono, 12.

The others are Bono East, 6, Oti Region, 9, Northern, 16, Savannah, 7, Upper West, 11, North East, 6, and Upper East, 15.

Registration at public universities will take place at the University of Ghana, Legon, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, the University of Development Studies (UDS), Tamale, the University of Mines and Technology (UMAT), Tarkwa, and the University of Education, Winneba.

The exercise would also be held at the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Entrepreneurship in Tanoso, the University of Professional Studies in Accra, Ghana Communication Technology University, the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Sunyani, the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, and the University of Environment and Sustainable Development in Somanya.

Other centres would be located at the University of Media, Arts and Communication in Accra, the C.K. Tedam University, Navrongo, the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho, the S.D. Dombo University, Wa, the Accra Technical University, and the Kumasi Technical University.

The rest of the centres are at the Takoradi Technical University, Koforidua Technical University, Cape Coast Technical University, Bolgatanga Technical University, Sunyani Technical University, Ho Technical University, Wa Technical University, and Tamale Technical University.

The EC’s Public Relations Officer, Micheal Boadu, informed the GNA that 775 new centres would be added to the list soon to cater for people who live in remotes areas.
